| John Fleckenstein – President
John became President of RPF Oil following the passing of his Father, Bill Fleckenstein in 1994. John managed the acquisition of the Genesee County market from Amoco, which significantly enhanced RPF’s growth. He presided over the acquisition of the remaining BP sites in Lansing. Recently, he lead the team that won one of four packages from BP in the Detroit Divestiture resulting in an additional 50 million gallons. He has been instrumental in securing and growing the dealer relationship business. He has also been responsible for all of the newly constructed Company sites. Under his guidance, the total gallons of the Company have grown from 13 million to over 110 million. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration. John lives in Bloomfield Hills, MI with his wife, Janie and their 3 children.
Dan Fleckenstein – Director of New Business and Branded Dealer Operations
Dan is currently Vice President, Director of Acquisitions for RPF Oil Company. Dan was instrumental in the coordination of the BP Detroit Acquisition. Formerly he was, Vice President, Portfolio Manager with Lehman Brothers. A veteran of the financial service business of 22 years, he has worked at Paine Webber (now UBS), Prudential Securities, and EF Hutton. He has been active in financial analysis, sales and trading. Dan has been a Director of RPF Oil and FAMCO Services, Inc. since 1994. Dan is a graduate of the University of Michigan, with a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration. He currently lives in Winchester, Massachusetts with his wife and 4 children.
Ken Rappuhn, – Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Ken joined RPF Oil Company in 1993 where he was instrumental in the acquisition of the Amoco stations in the greater Flint market, the Lansing market, and was responsible for all of the financial aspects of the Detroit BP Acquisition. During the last ten years, he has worked closely with the President of RPF Oil through market acquisitions, sales of non-performing assets, growth through new company owned sites and dealer owned sites, and exploring new areas like co-branding with fast-food partners and carwashes. Ken has also been working with software vendors to automate the entire bill of lading process, credit card and vendor invoice reconciliation and all aspects of the dealer billing and management process. Prior to coming to RPF Oil, he worked at Plante & Moran CPA’s where he was a licensed CPA. While at Plante & Moran, he performed various auditing and accounting functions as well as management consulting services. Ken has in excess of five years of fast-food experience as he worked as a manager for a local McDonalds franchisee prior to entering Plante & Moran. Ken is a current school board member and member of the AICPA, Michigan Association of CPA’s and Michigan Association of School Board Members. Ken graduated from the University of Michigan with a BBA in 1999 and later passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. |
